About Me
I'm a MBA student at the Johnson School in Cornell University, graduating in May 2010.
Before business school, I lived in the San Francisco Bay Area and was working as a Senior Financial Analyst in the Corporate Development team of Washington Mutual (now JP Morgan Chase) for more than three years. I had joined WaMu after a two year stint as a business analyst at Capital One.
I have a B.Tech and M.Tech (dual degree) in Mechanical Engineering and Operations Research from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay, India and a MS in Mechanical Engineering from University of Maryland, College Park, USA. I'm a Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) charterholder. I'm a candidate in the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) program and the Financial Risk Manager (FRM) program. I also hold a Series 3 license from National Futures Association.
When not crunching numbers and taking positions in the capital and commodity markets, I like to travel, read everything from sci-fi to Plato, play squash, paint landscapes and enjoy penning and reading poetry.
