What I read weekly

You can't stop the waves, but you can learn to surf. - Jon Kabat Zinn

My reading habits reflect an inherent curiousity about the world around me.

I have been a long time fan of 'The Economist'. I find that 'The Economist' sifts through the 'noise' in the daily business and economic news and enables insight into the 'meaning' of trends. I read it cover to cover every week.

In addition, reading the Lex Column in the Financial Times is a daily ritual.

As a trained engineer, I have a keen interest in all aspects of science, engineering, technology and its business implications. So, I also sift through a judicious mix of business and technology articles from the following magazines and journals on a as-needed basis (as listed below)

I also follow a few dozen carefully-chosen blogs on Google Reader, mostly related to technology, venture capital and finance.

Daily
- Financial Times (primarily the Lex Column and key articles)
- Key insightful articles from the Wall Street Journal

- About a dozen blogs.

Weekly
- The Economist

Occasionally

Business:
- CFO

Technology:
- New Scientist
- Scientific American
